1400mm Canopy Roof Rack

The MM 1400mm Canopy Roof Rack is a low-profile platform rack built for rooftop tents, awnings, solar panels, recovery tracks, tie-down points, and general touring gear.

Designed for canopy setups where strength, clean fitment, and usable roof space matter, this rack provides a practical mounting platform without adding unnecessary height or bulk.

Built from laser-cut aluminium side rails and black anodised aluminium extrusion, it is a clean and versatile option for touring, camping, work utes, and custom canopy setups. The extrusion design allows accessories to be mounted from multiple sides using slide-in nuts, bolts, brackets, and other compatible fasteners.

Included Rooftop Tent Brackets

The rack includes a set of 4 low-profile rooftop tent mounting brackets designed to suit common rooftop tent base extrusion channels.

These brackets allow the tent to be mounted neatly to the aluminium extrusion rails while helping keep the overall setup low, tidy, and secure.

Optional Rear Support Brackets

Optional rear support brackets are available for 1m canopy setups where additional rear support is required.

These brackets were developed for this rack when fitted to a compact 1m canopy, helping support the rear and assist with load distribution when it extends further back over the canopy.

Note: These brackets are designed around a 1m canopy setup and may not suit other canopy sizes or mounting layouts. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the best mounting option for your setup.

Mounting Notes

Mounting to unistrut is recommended, as it allows better adjustability, easier positioning, and improved load spread across the canopy structure.

Assembly, Installation & Fitment Notice

This rack is supplied unassembled and will require assembly before installation.

Assembly and installation should be completed by a competent person or qualified installer. All fasteners should be checked and tightened correctly before use, and re-checked after initial driving and regular use.

Actual carrying capacity will depend on the canopy structure, mounting method, fasteners used, load placement, vehicle limits, installation quality, and how the load is distributed.

For rooftop tents or heavy loads, the rack must be mounted to a suitable canopy structure with the load evenly distributed across the rack and mounting points.

This rack is not supplied with a certified load rating. Always follow your vehicle and canopy manufacturer’s roof-load recommendations.
