Warranty on Physical Products

All physical products sold through Iron Outback Co. — including our retail range and our own Mendham Made products — are backed by a manufacturer's or maker's warranty where applicable.

If no specific warranty is listed on the product page, your item is still automatically protected under Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees that products must:

Be of acceptable quality
Match the product description
Be fit for the stated purpose
Last for a reasonable amount of time

What is Covered:

Manufacturing defects
Items that are damaged or non-functional on arrival
Products that do not match the description or images

What is Not Covered:

Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse or unauthorized modification
Issues resulting from incorrect installation or fabrication

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your item is faulty or defective:

Contact us within 7 days of receiving the product at support@ironoutbackco.com.au
Include your order number, photos or video evidence, and a description of the issue
Our team will assess your claim and respond with the next steps

If eligible, we may offer:

A full refund
A replacement product
Assistance in claiming manufacturer warranty (if available)

Please do not return items until instructed by our team.

Custom Fabrication Work

Custom fabrication orders are produced to the specifications agreed at the time of quote. Installation, fitment, and certification of custom fabrication work should be performed by qualified professionals — final compliance remains the responsibility of the installer or certifying engineer.

Australian Consumer Law Compliance

We fully comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under ACL, you are entitled to remedies such as a refund, replacement, or repair if the product:

Is faulty or defective
Fails to do what it's meant to
Is not as described or promised
Breaks down within a reasonable time after purchase

These rights are automatic and cannot be excluded or voided.
