These Terms of Service govern your use of ironoutbackco.com.au and any purchase made through the site. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms. Nothing here limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Who We Are
Iron Outback Co. is an Australian retailer of night vision, thermal imaging, and 4x4/outback vehicle accessories, and the maker of Mendham Made — a growing range of products designed and built in-house.
2. Products We Sell
- Retail products — optics, thermal imaging equipment, 4x4 and vehicle accessories, camping and outdoor gear, tools, and related hardware, supplied through our trusted distributor and supplier relationships.
- Mendham Made products — items designed and manufactured by Iron Outback Co., released progressively as our range expands.
- Custom fabrication orders — bespoke builds of select designs, quoted individually via our Fabrication Quote page.
Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided to the best of our knowledge based on manufacturer and supplier information. If a product's exact fitment or specification is critical to your use, contact us before purchase.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable. Payment is required in full at the time of order unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order — for example, if a product is unexpectedly unavailable, priced in error, or if fraud is suspected. You will be notified and refunded in full if this occurs.
4. Custom Fabrication Orders
Custom fabrication orders are produced to the specifications agreed at the time of quote via our Fabrication Quote page. Because these are made to order, see our Refund Policy for how change-of-mind and fault-based remedies apply to custom items.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping timeframes, costs, and processes are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
6. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
Your rights to a refund, replacement, or repair are set out in our Refund Policy and Warranty page, and are always subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, product names, branding, and content on this site — including the "Iron Outback Co." and "Mendham Made" names and marks — are the property of Iron Outback Co. PTY LTD and may not be reproduced, resold, or used commercially without our written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iron Outback Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. This does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Use of This Website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
10. Changes to These Terms
